Standing at daunting 110 floors and 1,250 feet tall, the Empire State Building currently holds the record as the tallest structure in New York following the destruction of the World Trade Center Towers in the September 11 attacks in 2001. It was completed in 1931 and took more than an astounding 6.5 million man hours to complete.
